Instructor, CFI, CFII, MEI
Jon began flying in 1993 and has been a flight instructor since 2000. Over the last 30 years, Jon has amassed thousands of hours and obtained multiple ratings including sea planes and a type rating in the Citation Mustang. In 2004, he completed the construction of a Vans RV-8 which he continues to fly regularly. His YouTube channel “Life in the Fast Lane” chronicles flying all over the country with his band Eaglemania and is widely considered to be useful in teaching aeronautical decision making and instrument flying.
Jon has an MD from New York University and lives in Montclair, NJ with his wife and two daughters.
