Accelerated Flight Training
What Is Accelerated Flight Training?
Accelerated flight training is an intensive approach designed to help you complete entire certificates or ratings in a condensed timeframe, supported by dedicated aircraft and instructor availability.
If you live the kind of life that allows you maximum flexibility, but for short bursts of time — accelerated training could be for you. And we’re all about it.
Imagine if you could complete your training in a matter of weeks, as opposed to months. Imagine having a dedicated airplane and instructor for a set amount of time — and an FAA checkride scheduled at the end of it. This is possible with an accelerated flight training schedule. You can either opt to stay local if you need to be home every night, or you can take the airplane “on the road” and chase good weather all week (or if it’s IFR training, maybe chase not-so-good weather). A true cross-country, from New York to Los Angeles, is a reality with this type of program - it’s completely flexible based on your needs and schedule.
We’ve found accelerated training to be highly successful for all certificates/ratings, including Private Pilot, Instrument (IFR), Multi-Engine, Commercial, as well as Cirrus Transition.
Who Benefits from Accelerated Programs?
This style of training is ideal for those seeking to minimize downtime, or looking to intensively focus on aviation goals without long breaks between their lessons.
There are multiple benefits for you: there will always be an instructor and airplane available to you during your designated days so you can minimize overall time spent away from your life for flight training. Compacted learning translates to lots of repetition in a short time span, making for very effective and efficient training.
